Thai Hoa town launches voluntary blood donation campaign.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 27th, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Thai Hoa town organized a blood donation campaign for community health.

At the ceremony, nearly 1,000 people registered to donate blood, including officials, civil servants, employees, and youth union members from various departments, agencies, units, and businesses located in the town.

Comrade Pham Quang Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Town Party Committee and Chairman of the Town People's Council, participated in voluntary blood donation for community health.

The event was organized seriously, safely, and enthusiastically, reflecting the spirit of volunteerism. According to the plan, the organizing committee of the 2015 voluntary blood donation event for community health aims to collect more than 558 units of blood.

Voluntary blood donation is an annual event; therefore, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Thai Hoa town will continue to call on officials, employees, and youth union members to promote the spirit and actions of donating blood to save lives, so that this noble act can spread widely in the community and bring practical results in providing timely emergency care for patients.
