Through understanding the local situation, the Criminal Police Department discovered a gambling den operating with sophisticated methods and tricks at the house of Lac Van Lim (born in 1972), residing in Tan My commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province.
After developing a meticulous and careful plan, at around 5:30 p.m. on October 27, the Criminal Police Department presided over and coordinated with the Mobile Police Department of Lang Son Provincial Police to organize the raid.
At that time, the task force arrested 13 men and 19 women, residing in many districts of Lang Son province and neighboring provinces such as Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang and Hai Duong, for gambling in the form of dice shaking.

The police discovered and seized a total amount of over 150 million VND; 29 mobile phones of various types, 2 cars and many tools and vehicles used for gambling.
Through the investigation, the subjects confessed that this gambling ring was directly organized by Truong Van The (born in 1984), residing in Luc Ngan district, Bac Giang province, at Lim's house.

To avoid detection, the subject built a barbed wire fence system around the gambling area, the entrance to the gambling area was designed to build tunnels over 300m long with dozens of layers of solid iron doors, 2 sides are solid concrete brick walls, the top is reinforced with iron bars. This location has a surveillance camera system connected to the screen and arranged for monitoring and guarding to serve the gambling organization, dealing with the authorities.
The gambling den operates from 3pm to midnight every day and is organized into many shifts. Gamblers entering the den must pay from 200,000 VND to 500,000 VND in fees and are strictly controlled and have their phones confiscated before entering the gambling room. The case is currently under investigation and being expanded.
