13 year old boy tried to commit suicide by slitting his throat
(Baonghean.vn) - A 13-year-old boy used a vegetable knife to cut his neck, leading to a coma.
On the morning of August 8, 2018, Tan Ky District Medical Center received a patient who used a knife to cut his own throat.

At about 10:08 a.m. the same day, the District Medical Center admitted patient Vi Van H. (born 2005, residing in Nghia Binh commune, Tan Ky district), hospitalized in critical condition with an open wound in the neck from head to neck impact.
Through examination, the doctors determined that the patient's neck had one or two deep cuts close to the bone on both sides of the neck, with a lot of blood. The center quickly performed surgery and stitched up the wound to save the patient.
It is known that H. used a knife to cut his own neck. After his family discovered it, they took him to the district medical center (10km from home) for emergency treatment.
Currently, H is in a coma. The district medical center has transferred the patient to Nghe An General Hospital for further treatment.
