17 year old girl was thrown to death from 2nd floor by her boyfriend

Discovering strange messages on his girlfriend's phone, Chien thought he was betrayed and planned to "teach" the young woman from Hanoi a lesson.

Hanoi City Police have just concluded the investigation into the case of Nguyen Van Chien (16 years old, in Me Linh district) and his accomplice named Tuan for murder.

According to the investigation, in December 2015, through Facebook, Chien met and fell in love with a girl one year older than him named Nguyen Ngoc Ha, in Bac Tu Liem district.

In mid-February 2016, Chien discovered that Ha's phone had sensitive messages with several other people. Thinking that his girlfriend had changed her mind, he discussed with Nguyen Duc Tuan (16 years old, from Dong Anh district) to teach Ha a lesson.

At noon on February 28, Ha called Chien and invited him to go with a group of friends to Tuan's house. At around 8:30 p.m., when the group finished eating, Chien saw his girlfriend standing on the balcony on the second floor to get some fresh air, so he followed her.

Seeing that none of his friends were paying attention inside the house, Chien whispered to Tuan, “Let’s do it.” The two 16-year-old men, one on each side, grabbed Ha’s arms and legs, lifted her up, and threw her over the railing to the ground.

After committing the crime, Chien and Tuan shouted, “Ha fell.” They took the victim’s phone and called Ha’s family to inform them that she had jumped from the second floor.

The forensic examination concluded that the victim died from a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage. During the investigation, Tuan and Chien confessed to all their crimes.
