Vietnamese girl gang-raped in Malaysia.

Three men, including a police officer, are accused of kidnapping and gang-raping a 22-year-old Vietnamese female tourist.

According to The Star, the police officer, who is around 30 years old, was arrested just hours after the victim filed a complaint. His two accomplices, aged 30 and 50, were apprehended in raids yesterday.

Sources revealed that the incident occurred around 3:00 AM on October 25th in Johor Baru, southern Malaysia. At the time, the victim, a Vietnamese student, and his female friend, also from Vietnam, had just arrived at an apartment building by taxi. Both had been traveling in Malaysia since the previous month.

The three suspects suddenly approached them, claiming to be plainclothes police officers and demanding to see their passports. However, neither of them had any identification. The victim's friend was so frightened that she ran away, leaving her alone.

The girl tried to explain that she had forgotten her passport at home, but the three "policemen" didn't accept her explanation. They forced her into a car and took her to one of their houses. There, they took turns raping her.

The female tourist was held captive for at least 12 hours before being returned to the apartment the following day. The victim subsequently reported the incident to the police and underwent a medical examination.

A special police team was formed, and within hours, they identified the suspects based on surveillance camera footage from the security guard post at the apartment complex.

Johor Baru police confirmed the arrests but declined to provide details. An investigation is underway.
