The story of Nghe An students being the top students in university entrance exams, winning the "Road to Olympia" contest or coming first in a national competition seems to have become familiar to everyone. So, when Truong The Dieu, a 22-year-old boy from Quynh Hong commune (Quynh Luu), won the Silver Medal at the World Skills Competition (August 2019), was awarded the Second Class Labor Medal by the State and was later voted "Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam" in the field of manufacturing (March 2020), he immediately surprised and admired everyone!

The surprise is because Nghe An students are famous for being good at studying, good at taking exams, good at studying and then being good teachers, but from the past until now, we have seen those young scholars who are good at work, good at their profession, then good at their profession, good at their crafts, good at their crafts like Truong The Dieu. What is also interesting is that the land of Quynh Luu, the land of scholars for generations, the village of doctors, the family of doctors, and the family of doctors, for the first time in the whole country, the whole province, the whole district has "given birth" to a young man with good crafts, reaching the world level, comparable to the good craftsmen of the industrialized countries of Japan, Korea...

Interestingly, through Truong The Dieu's story, we know that this young man is someone who dares to accept not trying to get into university, but is willing to go to vocational school, to work, but must learn the profession well, to become a good worker. From being a studious and good student, Dieu was selected to learn a profession at a foreign enterprise, passed the domestic selection rounds and then went out to the world. The story of Truong The Dieu going to vocational school without a university degree, studying day and night all week, except for Sundays all year round, and then achieving resounding success in the international arena is known by many people and has become a "source of inspiration" for many people to strive and improve over time.

There is one thing that I want to say and repeat, that is Dieu is good at studying and taking the exam for CNC milling (Computer Numerical Control). Once when asked what CNC milling is, Dieu answered simply: It is working with a numerical control milling machine, programming on the computer first, then processing the product on the machine! To say that, good workers, good skills, golden hands of the generation of people like Truong The Dieu is the time of industry 4.0, of new technology, of digital technology and the time of the process of making products with a lot of science and technology content, and if you take the time to refer, you will see that the CNC milling profession that Dieu is studying and taking the exam for will produce products serving the aerospace industry and countless other important industries!

Also in an interview with the press about his future work, Truong The Dieu talked about being ready to "inspire" those who come after him, helping those who are passionate about the profession, getting acquainted with new skills and experience to overcome the rigorous rounds of the World Skills Competition in 2021. Dieu also hopes that in the future he will continue to work in businesses with modern equipment, with advanced technology to promote all of his own research and creative abilities, meaning to follow the path of a worker, a good worker, making products of the digital control era, digital transformation that is taking place everywhere around the world.

Because from the beginning, Truong The Dieu chose the path that few people choose, which is to learn a good profession, to do a good job. For Dieu, with the CNC milling profession, being a worker and being a teacher are now one. If you want to be a good teacher to inspire others, first of all, you must be a good worker, with both the knowledge of a teacher and the skills of a worker.
