Türkiye thanks and highly appreciates the capacity of the two Vietnamese rescue teams.
The Turkish Ambassador and the authorities of the southeastern provinces of Türkiye expressed their gratitude and highly appreciated the capabilities of the two Vietnamese rescue teams.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has just announced that, regarding the work of protecting citizens and supporting rescue and relief efforts in the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria, on February 13 and 14, the Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey and the Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and Syria sent letters of condolences and informed the local authorities about the Vietnamese Government's decision to provide aid of 100,000 USD to each country.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Türkiye sent a rescue team from the Ministry of National Defense to the site and handed over relief goods to the Deputy Governor of Hatay Province; coordinated with local authorities to stabilize accommodation and ensure security for both Vietnamese working groups.
The embassy said that the authorities of the southeastern provinces of Türkiye expressed their gratitude and highly appreciated the capabilities of the two Vietnamese rescue teams.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Iran and Syria, together with representatives of the Vietnamese community in Iran, organized a fundraiser to support people affected by the earthquake. The embassy also signed the condolence book and presented the donation to the Syrian Ambassador in Iran.
In the coming days, following the direction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two Embassies will continue to closely monitor the situation, proactively coordinate with local authorities and Vietnamese working delegations to provide the highest support for rescue work, contributing to the joint efforts of the Vietnamese Government in helping the two countries overcome the consequences of the earthquake.
Lieutenant General To An Xo - Assistant to Politburo member and Minister of Public Security said that Turkey welcomes Vietnam's humanitarian actions.
Turkish Ambassador to Vietnam Haldun Tekneci was very touched and expressed his sincere thanks to the support of the Vietnamese Government. The Ambassador expressed his respect and appreciation to the officers and soldiers who bravely volunteered to go to Turkey.
Vietnam's sending of a delegation to support search and rescue and provide medical aid demonstrates the good relationship between the Vietnamese and Turkish peoples.
The local people living near the rescue team's barracks came directly to say thank you, showing their good feelings to Vietnam and thanking the soldiers.

The dog team and the Reconnaissance Team No. 1 of the Vietnam People's Army's Collapse Rescue Engineering Team were on duty in Haci Omet Commune, Alpaget District, Hatay Province. On the way, upon hearing the news, local people contacted the Vietnam People's Army's forces to help search for their relatives in several collapsed buildings along Rustem Tumer Pasa Street in Antakya, the capital of Hatay Province.
As a result, at 11:00, 16:45 and 18:00 respectively, the search team found 3 locations with victims. Of which, the Vietnamese force directly worked with local rescue forces to remove 1 victim's body from the rubble. The remaining two locations were handed over to local units.
The team then continued to search and survey the area according to the initial agreement with the local coordinating agency. On the morning of February 15 (local time), the team commander continued to meet with representatives of Turkish authorities and international rescue forces to agree on the location for the next mission.

The Rescue Team (CNCH) is on duty at Building C, Cinar Sitesi Apartment Complex (including 3 buildings), No. 66 Kemalpasa Street, Cumhuriyet District, Adiyaman City, about 4 km from the military base.
The rescue team of the Ministry of Public Security's working group coordinated with the USAID delegation and Turkish forces to search for victims. The rescue team used camera detection equipment, radar wave measuring equipment, iron cutting equipment, concrete drilling equipment, etc. to search for victims in the rubble.
After many hours of deployment, the search force discovered and brought out 3 victims' bodies...
