Demir also commented on information about possible sanctions against Türkiye over the purchase of S-400s.
According to him, Ankara is aware of such situations, but the Turkish and Russian leaderships have made clear decisions and restrictions will likely not affect.
"We hope that Türkiye's allies will not mix one issue with another and assess the situation based on common sense," the official concluded.
In December 2017, Ankara and Moscow signed a loan agreement for the supply of S-400s to Türkiye. Ankara will purchase two battalions of S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems, which will be operated by Turkish personnel.
