Yesterday (June 10), heat and severe heat occurred widely in the Northern region and the Central provinces with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 36-39 degrees, in some places over 40 degrees.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today (June 11), due to the influence of the low pressure area in the West with the Southwest wind causing a strong foehn effect, the North will have hot weather, some places will be extremely hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 35-38 degrees, some places will be over 38 degrees; the Central region will have hot weather, some places will be especially hot with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 37-39 degrees, some places will be over 40 degrees. The time with temperatures above 35 degrees is from 10am to 5pm. This heat wave is likely to last from now until June 12-13.
