Weather 12/13: Warning of severe cold with temperatures below 5 degrees Celsius in some places

Forecast:This morning (December 13), cold air continues to affect some areas in the South Central region. Northeast wind inland level 3, coastal areas level 3-4. The North and Thanh Hoa regions will experience severe cold with the lowest temperature commonly 10-13 degrees, mountainous areas 8-10 degrees, high mountainous areas below 5 degrees. This severe cold spell is likely to last until the end of tomorrow (December 14).

In the sea area from Quang Tri to Quang Ngai, there is strong northeast wind level 6, gusting to level 7-8; rough sea. In the North East Sea area (including Hoang Sa archipelago), there is strong northeast wind level 6-7, gusting to level 8-9; rough sea.

Due to the influence of the cold air strengthening, in the North and North Central regions today there will be scattered rain and light rain; provinces from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms.Disaster risk level: level 1.

Forecast:From now until around December 16, due to the influence of the cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the high-altitude East wind zone, the provinces from Quang Binh to Khanh Hoa will have moderate rain, heavy rain, and some places will have very heavy rain.
