According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting,yesterday (April 17),Due to the influence of the southeastern edge of the low pressure area in the West, the Northwest region of the North has experienced localized heat. The highest temperature yesterday was in Song Ma (Son La) 40 degrees, Muong La (Son La) 39.5 degrees, Muong Lay (Dien Bien) 38.2 degrees, Muong Te (Lai Chau) 37.5 degrees.
Forecast: Today (April 18), the heat wave will continue to occur in the Northwestern region of the North and some places in the Central region; from tomorrow (April 19), the heat wave will spread to the entire North and Central regions with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 34-37 degrees, especially in the mountainous areas of the Central provinces, it is commonly 38-39 degrees, some places over 40 degrees. The time with temperatures above 35 degrees is from 12-16 hours.
