It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move in the West Northwest direction, traveling 25-30km per hour and is likely to strengthen into a storm.

At 7:00 p.m. tonight, the eye of the storm is located at approximately 11.3 degrees North latitude; 120.6 degrees East longitude, approximately 130km east of Palaoan Island (Philippines). The strongest wind near the eye of the storm is level 8 (60-75km/h), gusting to level 10.
In the next 24 to 48 hours, the storm will move west at about 25km per hour, enter the East Sea and is likely to strengthen.
At 7pm tomorrow night, the eye of storm No. 9 will be at approximately 11.5 degrees North latitude; 115.0 degrees East longitude, approximately 80km east of Song Tu Tay Island (Truong Sa archipelago). The strongest wind near the eye of the storm is level 8-9 (60-90km/h), gusting to level 11.
In the next 48 to 72 hours, the storm will move westward at 15-20km per hour and is likely to strengthen. At 1pm on November 24, the storm's eye was at approximately 11.7 degrees North latitude; 110.8 degrees East longitude, approximately 200km east of the coast of the South Central provinces. The strongest wind near the storm's eye is level 9-10 (75-100km/h), gusting to level 12.
