Weather 3/2: Central region has scattered rain and frost, North has places with -0.3 degrees Celsius
(Baonghean.vn) - The strong cold air continues to cause severe cold today (February 3) in the Northern and North Central provinces. It is forecasted that in the next 1-2 hours (7-8 hours), the temperature in the above areas will increase by about 0.2-0.5 degrees.
Due to the influence of cold air strengthening in the Gulf of Tonkin, there are strong northeast winds of level 6-7, gusting to level 8, and rough seas.
Today and tonight (February 3), the cold air is forecast to continue to strengthen to the south.
Due to the influence of strong cold air; in the Northern and North Central provinces there is light rain in some places, in the Central Central provinces there is scattered rain. The northeast wind inland is strong at level 3, coastal areas at level 4.
In the North and provinces from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, the weather continues to be very cold, with frost in the highlands; the lowest temperature in the plains is generally 8-11 degrees Celsius, in the mountains 5-8 degrees Celsius, and in the highlands, below 3 degrees Celsius in some places.
