Forecast:Today (September 8), cold air continues to affect the provinces in the North Central region. The wind changes to the northeast at level 2 - level 3 inland, and level 3 - level 4 in coastal areas.

During this Northeast monsoon (September 8-9), the lowest temperature in the North Central provinces is commonly 22 - 24 degrees, in mountainous areas 20 - 22 degrees.
At sea and offshore in the North Central region today (September 8), the Northeast wind will gradually increase to level 6 - level 7, gusting to level 8. The sea will be rough.

Heavy Rain Warning:Due to the influence of cold air strengthening and compressing the low pressure trough with an axis through the North Central region, today (September 8) there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.
During the day and tonight (September 8), heavy to very heavy rain will be concentrated in the North Central region (common rainfall 50 - 100mm/24 hours, especially in the south of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, common rainfall is 70-150mm/24 hours).
