Forecast for the next 12 hours, the tropical depression moves slowly in the South Southwest direction, about 5km per hour.

In the next 12 to 24 hours, the tropical depression changed direction to move in the East Northeast direction, traveling 10km per hour, at 01:00 on July 30, the center of the tropical depression was at about 18.8 degrees North latitude; 117.8 degrees East longitude, about 660km East Northeast of Hoang Sa archipelago. The strongest wind in the area near the center of the tropical depression was level 6 (40-50km/hour), gusting to level 8-9.

In the next 24 hours, the dangerous area (strong winds level 6 or higher, rough seas) is from latitude 16.0 to 20.00N, east of longitude 114.00E. Natural disaster risk level 3.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, the tropical depression will move northeast at about 15km per hour and gradually weaken.
