The weather is not favorable to observe the best meteor shower of the year.
According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the sky will be cloudy across the country tonight and early tomorrow morning, with the possibility of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Therefore, the possibility of observing the Perseids meteor shower is not high.

Tonight and tomorrow morning (August 12-13), the Perseids meteor shower will reach its peak with a maximum density of up to 80 meteors per hour. Along with the Geminids meteor shower that occurs every December, this is one of the two most beautiful meteor showers of the year.
Observing meteor showers depends largely on two factors: the moon and the weather. This year, the Perseid meteor shower coincides with the second day of the lunar calendar, so the moonlight does not affect the observation much. However, forecast channels show that weather conditions across the country are not favorable for observation. The weather in 6 regions across the country and the capital Hanoi tonight is forecast to be cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Therefore, the possibility of seeing meteor streaks in the sky is not high.
However, in about 2 months, astronomy lovers will have the opportunity to observe a small meteor shower, the Draco meteor shower. In December, astronomers will have the opportunity to observe the Geminids meteor shower, a meteor shower equivalent to the Perseids with many beautiful meteor streaks.
