Weather on February 11: North Central region has rain, cold at night, some places below 5 degrees Celsius
The whole North has light rain and fog, the weather turns cold again, in mountainous areas some places are below 5 degrees.
Since last evening and last night, the cold air has been affecting the entire North. The rain initially only appeared in the Northeast but today it will expand to the Northwest provinces.
Last night, the temperature in the whole region dropped by 3-4 degrees Celsius, the plains were cold by 11-14 degrees Celsius, the mountainous provinces were cold by 8-11 degrees Celsius, the high mountains were severely cold when the temperature dropped below 5 degrees Celsius. The high mountains above 2,000m are at risk of harmful frost.

Today, the temperature in the North will drop by 5-7 degrees Celsius, commonly 13-15 degrees Celsius, but due to rain and high humidity, it will feel colder, especially in the Northwestern provinces such as Dien Bien Phu and Son La, where the temperature will stay at 17-20 degrees Celsius.
This cold spell is forecast to last until tomorrow, with tonight and tomorrow being the coldest period of the spell. In Hanoi, the lowest temperature could drop to 11 degrees, and not exceed 14 degrees during the day; in Lang Son City, it will be 7 degrees at night and 11-12 degrees during the day. Then, from Tuesday (February 13), the weather will quickly warm up again.
In the Central region, since last night, Thanh Hoa has had rain, today the rain has spread to Quang Ngai with moderate rain, some places have heavy rain. The North Central provinces have cold weather of 14-17 degrees Celsius during the day, deep cold of 11-14 degrees at night, the Central Central provinces have cold weather of 18-21 degrees Celsius during the day, cold of 14-17 degrees at night.
In the Da Nang - Phu Yen area, the days are chilly at 22-25 degrees Celsius, and at night it is cold at 18-21 degrees Celsius. In the provinces from Khanh Hoa - Binh Thuan, the days are sunny at 27-30 degrees Celsius.
The Central Highlands quickly increased in temperature by about 3 degrees compared to yesterday, the highest temperature reached 28-31 degrees Celsius, the night was cold 15-18 degrees, the weather was clear and dry.
The South continues its series of cool, pleasant days with the highest temperature during the day only at 28-31 degrees Celsius, and at night it drops to 19-23 degrees Celsius.
