(Baonghean.vn) - According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on June 20, due to the influence of the low pressure area in the West expanding to the Southeast with the Southwest wind causing a strong foehn effect, the Central provinces continue to have hot and extremely hot weather with the highest temperature commonly ranging from 36-39 degrees, some places above 39 degrees.

The heat wave in the Northern provinces is likely to last for the next 3-4 days; in the Central region it will continue for many days to come.
Effects of heat:
Due to the impact of the intense heat in the coming days combined with low humidity, there is a high risk of explosions and fires in residential areas due to increased demand for electricity and a high risk of forest fires in the Central provinces. In addition, the heat has an impact and causes dehydration, exhaustion, and heat stroke to the human body when exposed to high temperatures for a long time.
