Nghe An weather during holidays: Many localities experience widespread rain
(Baonghean.vn) - It is forecasted that from April 26 until the end of the holiday, the weather in many localities in Nghe An will change to widespread rain, with scattered sunshine on some days.
According to information from the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, the weather forecast for Nghe An from April 26 to April 29-30 is that the cold continental high pressure will strengthen; then weaken rapidly, causing clouds to change to cloudy, with scattered rain, showers and thunderstorms, locally with moderate to heavy rain. The north to northeast wind is level 2 to level 3.
Specifically, on April 26, Nghe An had widespread rain with an average rainfall of about 60ml, humidity of 70-80%. On April 27, the weather turned sunny in most districts, except for Que Phong, Ky Son, and Tuong Duong, where it still rained.
From April 24 to May 5, under the influence of a low pressure trough with an axis at about 25-28 degrees North latitude connecting with the low pressure area in the West expanding to the East, Nghe An area is forecast to have changing clouds, sunny days, showers and thunderstorms in many localities in the evening and at night.
On April 28-29, there will be widespread rain in most districts, cities, and towns. However, the amount of rain will not be large. On April 30, the rain is forecast to stop, become cloudy, gloomy, and have little sunshine.

The North Central Hydrometeorological Station also forecasts that from May 2 to 5, there will be hot weather, with some mountainous areas experiencing severe heat, and showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The south to southwest wind will be at level 2 - level 3. During the holiday, most localities in Nghe An will have cloudy and sunny weather. In particular, the districts of Ky Son, Tuong Duong, and Que Phong are forecast to continue to rain, but the amount of rain will not be large.
With erratic rain and sunshine, in mountainous areas, it is forecasted that thunderstorms with tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind may affect agricultural production, cause trees to fall, damage houses, affect traffic works and people's travel and daily life.
For example, recently, on April 25, a tornado occurred in some communes in Tuong Duong district, damaging and collapsing 31 houses. Previously, on April 22-23, hail also occurred in Tuong Duong, Ky Son, and Que Phong, but because the rain was short and the amount of hail was not much, it did not have a big impact on production and people's lives.
