Urgent announcement: Nghe An temporarily closes roads from 11pm today (September 28)

To strengthen emergency response measures to storm No. 10 and floods, landslides, flash floods, and landslides, ensuring the safety of people's lives and health, the Provincial People's Committee requests:

The Department of Construction presides over and coordinates with the Provincial Police, the Department of Agriculture and Environment and the People's Committees of communes and wards to determine key routes directly affected by storm No. 10, the time the storm passes through the area to organize traffic, temporarily ban vehicles (except vehicles, storm and flood prevention and control forces on duty), ensuring the safety of people's lives and health.

For landslide and flooded roads, especially in mountainous areas, the People's Committees of communes and wards organize warnings and send forces to prohibit people and vehicles from passing, ensuring safety for the people.

During the time the storm makes landfall (expected from 11pm on September 28 to 4am on September 29), people without duties are requested to stay off the streets to ensure safety of life and health.

Temporary road closures will begin at 11pm on September 28 (until the storm passes through the area or a later announcement is made when the safety situation is safe).

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Construction and the People's Committees of communes and wards to deploy a temporary road closure plan to ensure traffic order and safety, and strictly handle individuals who deliberately do not comply; based on reality to be flexible and mobile in organizing road closures.
