Urgent announcement: Nghe An province will temporarily close roads from 11 PM today (September 28th).

To strengthen emergency response measures to Typhoon No. 10 and heavy rains, landslides, flash floods, and mudslides, and to ensure the safety and health of the people, the Provincial People's Committee requests:

The Department of Construction, in coordination with the Provincial Police, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committees of communes and wards, will identify critical roads directly affected by Typhoon No. 10 and the time the typhoon will pass through the area to organize traffic, temporarily close roads for vehicles (except for vehicles and forces involved in typhoon and flood prevention and control, and those on duty), ensuring the safety and health of the people.

For roads affected by landslides and flooding, especially in mountainous areas, the People's Committees of communes and wards will organize warnings and deploy forces to prohibit people and vehicles from passing through, ensuring the safety of the people.

During the time the storm makes landfall (expected from 11 PM on September 28th to 4 AM on September 29th), people who do not have essential tasks are requested to stay indoors to ensure their safety and well-being.

The temporary road closure will begin at 11 PM on September 28th (further notice will be given once the storm has passed or the situation is safe).

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Provincial Police Department to take the lead and coordinate with the Department of Construction and the People's Committees of communes and wards to implement a temporary road closure plan to ensure traffic order and safety, and to strictly handle individuals who deliberately fail to comply; based on practical circumstances, they should be flexible and adaptable in organizing road closures.
