At the conference, comrade Nguyen Hong Dien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department quickly announced the results of the 12th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee.

Accordingly, implementing the entire working program, from May 11 to May 14, 2020, under the chairmanship of General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, the 12th Party Central Committee discussed and gave opinions on many important contents. The conference issued a Resolution on 5 basic issues including: Personnel work orientation of the 13th Party Central Committee; Principles and bases for allocating delegates and expected number of delegates attending the 13th Party Congress; Direction for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Politburo and Secretariat in 2019; Issues related to personnel work.

At the end of the conference, comrade Le Manh Hung - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized the important events that have impacted ideology and public opinion in recent times so that the team of reporters can do a better job of forecasting and orienting ideology for cadres, party members and people.
