Approving the plan for the Emulation Congress of Military Region 4

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 27, 2014, the Military Region 4 Command held a conference to evaluate, select the logo and approve the plan for the Military Region's Armed Forces' emulation congress (2009 - 2014). Lieutenant General Nguyen Huu Cuong, Commander of the Military Region chaired the conference, comrades in the Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Military Region Command attended the conference.

Through the contest to create a logo of the Military Region 4 on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Military Region's Armed Forces tradition (October 15, 1945 - October 15, 2014), launched by the Military Region Command from December 10, 2012 to January 4, 2014, the on-duty agency received 60 logo designs from authors who are officers and soldiers of the Military Region's Armed Forces and authors from many localities across the country participating in the contest.

At the conference, the organizing committee of the contest selected 7 logo designs for evaluation. As a result, the Military Region Command selected logo design number 7 by author Lieutenant Colonel Phan The Hien, Military Region Propaganda Department and Captain CN Nguyen Truong Tue, Military Region culturalist. At the same time, directed the standing agency and the author to continue editing and supplementing logo number 7 according to 4 criteria: High aesthetics, simplicity; Generalizing the tradition of the Military Region's armed forces; long-term use and easy recognition of the characteristics of Military Region 4 for approval by the Military Region Command in the coming time.

Also at the conference, the Military Region Command approved the plan for the Military Region's Armed Forces' Emulation Congress to Win (2009 - 2014) to unify the content, time, location, and composition of the Congress; the organization and implementation of the Congress and the work to ensure the Congress. According to the plan, the Congress will be held in November 2014.
