Through the plan to build the ATLC-SSCĐ facility for cluster number 6

(Baonghean)On February 27th, a conference was held in Nghia Dan district to approve the plan for building a safe and secure combat zone for cluster 6, comprising four districts: Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong, and Thai Hoa town. Comrade Nguyen Sy Hoi - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command - chaired the conference.

At the conference, the districts and Thai Hoa town reported on the results of implementing five key areas: building the political system, economic development, building cultural life in residential areas, building national defense and security tasks, and military rear-area policies in 2012. Generally, the units in the cluster performed their tasks well, notably in the areas of new rural development, building economic development models, building national defense and security in conjunction with economic development, and poverty reduction. However, some units still faced limitations, such as ensuring rural security, rural transportation, and difficulties in recruiting new Party members in some villages and hamlets.

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Sy Hoi requested that in 2013, units in the cluster must link the goal of building a safe and secure base for combat readiness with ensuring solid people's security. To successfully complete the task, units need to strengthen contact and dialogue with the people, do a good job of raising people's awareness of the law; improve the activities of the militia and self-defense forces, reorganize the steering committee for building the base in the area; link economic development projects with ensuring national defense and security, and at the same time, effectively address policies for people with meritorious services.
