At the opening ceremony of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia said that official information must be tight, timely and cannot be behind social networks.
The Central Propaganda Department launched the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal on March 29. Editor-in-Chief of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper Tran Doan Tien gave an overview of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal.
Access address: dangcongsan.org.vn - The Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Information Portal will provide readers with the Party's guidelines, policies, and documents; is a communication portal between the Party and the People; is an information integration center of the Central Party agencies, Party committees directly under the Central Committee, socio-political organizations, ministries, branches, and provincial and municipal Party committees; is a focal point for integrating and sharing information between publications of the Communist Party of Vietnam Electronic Newspaper.

The portal is scientifically built, ensuring aesthetics and convenience with 3 major content blocks including: News block (categories: News on activities; Party and State leaders; Party building...); Data block (categories: New documents; Party work instructions; Central Party agencies; Political and social organizations; Ministries, branches; Provincial and City Party Committees...); Application block (categories: Online Q&A, Online dialogue, Party building suggestions, Party building forum...).
The portal has completed the integration of data from the portals, newspapers, and magazines of 108 Central Party agencies; socio-political organizations; ministries, branches; provincial and municipal Party committees. Information of each agency and unit is integrated into a separate component page on the portal, including 4 main sub-sections: Introduction; Activity news; Party building; Documents and materials.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia said that in the current context, the press needs to actively grasp and apply new scientific and technological achievements, accelerate digital transformation and improve the quality of official information channels. The 13th Party Congress has proposed to strengthen management and develop press media on social networking platforms and the Internet.
After the Communist Party Electronic Information Portal was put into operation, the Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested to continue perfecting the database to operate the Portal smoothly and absolutely safely, ensuring that the Portal is an information channel with orientation, comprehensively and promptly reflecting the Party's policies as well as the activities of agencies and units.
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department shared that this will be a bridge between the Party and the people, so the provision and updating of information on the portal must be carefully reviewed and edited to avoid errors.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia assigned the task: “Although we must work closely, we must be proactive, timely, and always go ahead and not behind social networks. In particular, we must not leave any information or content that needs to be oriented blank, especially issues that people care about.”
The Communist Party of Vietnam electronic information portal is designed as a multimedia electronic data warehouse, a storage address and a link to information resources of Central Party agencies, socio-political organizations, ministries, branches, provincial and municipal Party committees through the global information network Internet.
The Head of the Central Propaganda Department pointed out that it is necessary to focus on perfecting mechanisms, regulations, and operating procedures to smoothly provide and update information, use database systems, and link exploitation.
