Official information about the quarry collapse in Quy Hop
(Baonghean.vn) - Two days after the collapse of the Cuong Hai quarry in Chau Quang commune, killing 3 people and injuring 1 person, the Quy Hop district government has released official information.

According to the document of the Quy Hop district government, at about 4:30 p.m. on October 16, 2016, at the stone mining area of Cuong Hai Mineral and Trading Joint Stock Company, directed by Mr. Le Duy Hai (born in 1964), residing in Nhang village, Chau Cuong commune, Quy Hop district, in Thung Dat (Thung Xang), Banh village, Chau Quang commune (Quy Hop), a landslide occurred, killing 3 people.
The victims include: Mr. Luong Van Hung (born in 1983), residing in Quang Huong hamlet, Chau Quang commune; Mr. Lo Van Tuan (born in 1980), Vi Van Hung (born in 1978), both residing in Dong Tien hamlet, Chau Cuong commune (Quy Hop).
The injured person is Mr. Tran Van Tuyen (born in 1991), residing in Loc Yen commune (Huong Khe - Ha Tinh). Mr. Tuyen is currently receiving emergency treatment at Nghe An General Hospital. The four victims are all workers of Cuong Hai Mineral and Trading Joint Stock Company.
At 9:30 p.m. on October 16, after the autopsy, the investigation agency handed over the body to the family for burial according to local customs.
Initially, Quy Hop district supported each family with 11.4 million VND. Cuong Hai Enterprise also supported each family with 30 million VND for funeral expenses.
According to a representative of Quy Hop District Police, 2 days after the accident, the incident is still under investigation.
