(Baonghean.vn) - Information from Nghe An Department of Health: After a period of intensive treatment, the health of the 3 patients who had serious complications in the dialysis incident at the Provincial General Hospital has now stabilized and improved.
Two patients, Ho Thi Loc (29 years old, in Hung Tay commune, Hung Nguyen district) and Nguyen Thi Hong (33 years old, in Nam Linh commune, Nam Dan district), who were treated at Bach Mai Hospital, were transferred from the Intensive Care Unit to the Artificial Kidney Department of this hospital for dialysis.

Currently, the replacement of the old RO water pipe system with a bent pipe system at Nghe An General Hospital under the direction of the Department of Health is being gradually implemented.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper: On July 30, at Nghe An General Hospital, there was a dialysis incident that caused 10 patients to have a bad development. Of these, 3 patients had a serious development. 1 patient was treated at the Provincial General Hospital. 2 patients were transferred to Bach Mai Hospital according to their families' wishes. The cause of the dialysis medical incident was that the dialysis water was contaminated beyond the threshold. Bacteria grew from the bends of the water supply system./.
