Latest information on the case of the Ward Deputy Captain shooting dead the female Vice Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council
The suspect who shot and killed the female Vice Chairwoman of the Ward People's Council is conscious. The case file has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department of Military Region V.
On the morning of January 25, Mr. Pham Ba My, Director of Gia Lai General Hospital, said that patient Bui Chi Hieu (32 years old, suspect of controlling and shooting dead the female deputy of the People's Council of Doan Ket ward, Ayun Pa town, Gia Lai province) had been transferred to the hospital.

According to Mr. My, suspect Bui Chi Hieu was transferred to the Central Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology for further treatment. Upon transfer, patient Hieu was conscious and consciousness had been restored. However, his face was still crushed. During the transfer, two investigators from the Criminal Investigation Department of Military Region V escorted him.
Gia Lai Provincial Police have also handed over the case file to the Criminal Investigation Department of Military Region V for further investigation and handling according to authority.
Previously, as reported by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, on the morning of December 3, 2018, suspect Bui Chi Hieu broke into the safe of the Military Command of Doan Ket Ward to steal military guns, then went to the Doan Ket Ward Hall to fire into the air, restrained and shot dead Ms. Kpa H'ven (31 years old, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Doan Ket Ward). Hieu then shot himself in the head to commit suicide.
