New information on the attack on the People's Committee headquarters in Dak Lak: 22 suspects have been arrested
Speaking to reporters of CAND Newspaper this morning, June 12, Lieutenant General To An Xo, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security, said that the police force had arrested 22 suspects in the attack on the People's Committee headquarters in Dak Lak.
The forces worked all night to capture the group and this is still being carried out.
Previously, as reported by CAND Newspaper, in the early morning of June 11, in Cu Kuin district, a group of people used guns to attack the headquarters of the People's Committee of Ea Tieu and Ea Ktur communes, causing the death and injury of a number of commune police officers, commune officials and residents...
The Ministry of Public Security has directed Dak Lak Provincial Police and professional units to deploy to arrest the above mentioned group of subjects. By 4:30 p.m. the same day, 16 subjects were arrested and 2 hostages were rescued. The third citizen freed himself.

In the afternoon, General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, signed a decision to posthumously promote the ranks of four commune police officers who died while on duty in Cu Kuin district, Dak Lak province.

That is, posthumously promote the rank from Captain to Major for comrade Hoang Trung (born in 1981), hometown: Nghi Loc, Nghe An, police officer of Ea Ktur commune; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Captain for comrade Nguyen Dang Nhan (born in 1994), hometown: Yen Thanh, Nghe An, police officer of Ea Ktur commune; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Major for comrade Tran Quoc Thang (born in 1989), hometown: Thach Ha, Ha Tinh, police officer of Ea Tieu commune; posthumously promote the rank from Senior Lieutenant to Captain for comrade Ha Tuan Anh (born in 1991), hometown: Trieu Son, Thanh Hoa, police officer of Ea Tieu commune.
Minister To Lam, Chairman of the Management Board of the People's Public Security Comradeship Fund, also signed a decision to support 100 million VND/family for the families of 4 comrades of the Cu Kuin District Police, Dak Lak Province who died while performing their duties; support 50 million VND/comrade for 2 comrades of the Cu Kuin District Police who were injured while performing their duties, Senior Lieutenant Dam Dinh Bop (born in 1993), Deputy Chief of Ea Ktur Commune Police and Captain Le Kien Cuong (born in 1988), an officer of Ea Ktur Commune Police.
The Ministry of Public Security requests that people in Cu Kuin district and neighboring areas remain calm and not panic; follow the requests of local authorities and functional forces.
