Highlights of May 13th in Nghe An

*On the same day,Delegation from the Ministry of Public SecurityLed by Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Deputy Minister of Public Security, a delegation visited the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site to offer incense and flowers to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh.

At the Kim Lien Historical Site, General Tran Quoc To and the delegation respectfully laid wreaths of fresh flowers and offered incense, expressing their boundless gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh.

*On the morning of May 13th, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee organized...Launching ceremony for the fundraising campaign to build solidarity houses for poor households in Dien Bien province.This will be conducted in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online participation, between the main hub at the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and local hubs in 63 provinces and cities.

The launching ceremony for the fundraising campaign to build Solidarity Houses for poor households in Dien Bien province is also a special event marking the beginning of activities leading up to the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory.

During the period from May 2023 to May 2024, the program is expected to support the construction of 7,000 to 8,000 solidarity houses for poor and near-poor households in Dien Bien province and some areas in the Northwest region.

At the launching ceremony, agencies, units, and individuals presented initial donation plaques totaling over 250 billion VND. The organizing committee presented a donation of 200 billion VND (equivalent to 4,000 houses) to the leaders of Dien Bien province.
