Highlights of Nghe An province on July 29th

* On the morning of July 29th, in Con Cuong district,The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development organized a seminar."Conservation of nature and development of buffer zones in Vietnam's special-use forests."

Attending the seminar was Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Acknowledging and appreciating the contributions of the leaders of Nghe An province and experts, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan noted that, in order to effectively conserve nature and develop the buffer zones of Vietnam's special-use forests, it is essential to first focus on developing value chains for non-timber forest products linked to businesses.

In addition, emphasis should be placed on investing in the development of ecotourism based on community livelihoods. More importantly, it is necessary to combine forest protection, livelihood creation, and vocational skills training for young people and local residents living in the buffer zones of special-use forests.

* On the morning of July 29th, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc Youth Union and the Provincial Enterprises Bloc Youth Union.Organizing training courses for Youth Union officials.in agencies and businesses in Nghe An province in 2023.

During the training course, participants listened to lectures on the following topics: guidance on some aspects of Youth Union building work and the Youth Union's participation in Party building; some notes on the implementation of integrating the Youth Union Member Management Software and the Vietnam Youth Application; some orientations on public opinion in the current period; and training on cultural conduct, communication skills, planning skills, and improving foreign language proficiency for Youth Union members and young people in the process of international integration.
