2015 Admission Information for Colleges

Many colleges have officially announced their 2015 admission methods. Most schools rely on the results of the national high school graduation exam, although some also consider high school academic performance.

Ha Tay Teacher Training CollegeThe university has an enrollment target of 1550 in 2015. In addition to candidates with household registration in Hanoi, the university also recruits candidates from across the country for several majors such as: English (50 quotas), Early Childhood Education (100 quotas), Primary Education (150 quotas), and Mathematics Education (50 quotas).

The admission method of Ha Tay Teacher Training College is based on the national high school graduation exam. The subject combinations for admission consideration include: Mathematics - Literature - English; Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry. For the Early Childhood Education major, after applicants register, the school will organize an aptitude test.

Central Teacher Training CollegeThe university's 2015 admissions quota of 1800 students was also based on the results of the national high school graduation exam. Some majors at the university required aptitude tests, and these aptitude tests (Auditory Perception - Rhythm, Drawing, Decoration) were organized by the university. The aptitude test scores were weighted with a coefficient of 2.

Hanoi Medical CollegeIn 2015, the school had a recruitment quota of 800 students. The school's admission method was based on the results of the national high school graduation exam administered by universities, as well as grades from high school transcripts. Specifically, it considered the average total score of three subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology from grades 10, 11, and 12 as recorded in the high school transcript, or the overall average score.

For the Nursing program, Hanoi Medical College recruits candidates with household registration in Hanoi and other provinces (the Nursing program has 100 places for students with household registration outside Hanoi, and they must pay tuition fees). For the Medicine, Midwifery, and Pharmacy programs, only candidates with permanent household registration in Hanoi are accepted.

Bach Mai Medical CollegeIn 2015, the school recruited 320 students nationwide. Admissions were based on the results of the 2015 National High School Graduation Examination in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. The admission period followed the general schedule of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Hanoi College of ArtsThe school is recruiting 450 students in 2015. All candidates with permanent residence in districts and counties of Hanoi City, including those without permanent residence in Hanoi, can participate through the open, regular program at the school if they have the aptitude and means to study in Hanoi.

Please note that all majors at Hanoi College of Arts require Literature as an admission subject. For the Vietnamese Studies and Cultural Management majors, Literature, History, and Geography are required for admission. In addition, the college also offers vocational training programs such as: Dance, Fashion Design, Painting, Western Instrumental Performance, Traditional Instrumental Performance, Vocal Music, Piano, and Symphony Orchestra.

Vietnam College of DanceThe college is recruiting 120 students. Admission will be based on the Literature exam score, the results of the high school graduation exam, and the overall GPA for the three years of high school. Some majors at the Vietnam College of Dance will require an exam: Basic Dance Proficiency, Choreography and Practice of Dance Exercises and Short Pieces. In addition, the college also offers second degree programs in Dance Training and Choreography.

Hanoi College of Electronics and RefrigerationIn 2015, admissions were based on the results of the national high school graduation exam with a quota of 750. Candidates who did not pass the college-level program were considered for admission to the vocational college or professional secondary school programs of the school.

Printing Industry CollegeThe university is recruiting 150 students for the 2015-2016 academic year. Of these, 50% will be based on the results of the National High School Graduation Examination, and 50% will be based on high school academic transcripts in subjects within the following combinations: Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry; Mathematics - Physics - English; Mathematics - Literature - English; Mathematics - Chemistry - English. Television CollegeIn 2015, the total enrollment quota was 850. The school will have two admission methods. Method 1: Admission will be based on the results of the National High School Graduation Examination corresponding to the subject combination. Method 2 (if the quota is not yet met) will consider academic performance based on the average score of the three subjects in the chosen subject combination over five semesters: grade 10, grade 11, and the first semester of grade 12, with a minimum score of 16.5 points.

The subject combinations for the Television College entrance exam are quite diverse, including: Literature - History - Geography; Mathematics - Literature - English; Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry; Mathematics - Chemistry, Biology; Mathematics - Physics - English.
