The "mobile" drink stalls in front of the Ga market gate, which sell soy milk and fresh coconut water, are also crowded with customers. Despite the hot weather, customers still have to wait to buy a cool drink to cool off. The owner of a drink stall in front of the market gate said: Each cup of soy milk is sold for 5,000 VND, fresh coconut water is 10,000 VND, on these hot days, I sell over 100 cups of all kinds every day. It is known that the price of each fresh coconut is only about 13,000 VND/fruit, each fruit can make about 3 cups of coconut water. Thus, the shop owner makes a huge profit of about 1 million VND/day.

Sidewalk refreshment stalls on Ho Tung Mau Street are always crowded with customers, especially in the evening.

As a “super profitable” investment channel, the number of “investors” in sidewalk refreshment services is increasing rapidly and are “making a fortune” during the hot days. Walking around the city these days, it is easy to see that along the streets: Truong Thi, Le Duan, Tran Phu, Ho Tung Mau… “mobile” drink stalls are springing up like mushrooms, operating from morning to night; especially crowded in the evening.

Ms. Ha, the owner of a sugarcane juice shop on Ho Tung Mau Street, said: "To make sugarcane juice, you only need to invest in a presser along with a table and chairs for about 10 million. Each sugarcane costs 10,000 VND/stick, and can squeeze about 4 cups of sugarcane juice. Sugarcane juice is sold for 10,000 VND/cup, after deducting expenses, the profit is about 25,000 VND/stick". In the past few days, at peak times, she has sold about 400 - 500 cups of sugarcane juice, equivalent to 100 sugarcane sticks; earning nearly 2 million VND/day.

Ho Hieu Hai, owner of a Facebook page specializing in selling homemade soft drinks, with free home delivery service, said: On hot days, the number of customers ordering increased by one and a half times. Refreshing drinks such as lemon tea, peach tea, priced at 10,000 VND/cup, are very popular with customers. Every day, I ship to over 20 customers in the city, with the number of days up to over 30 cups of various soft drinks. I sell them with snacks such as mango shake, plum shake... earning a profit of over 400,000 VND/day.

Bui Huu Hung (Hung Loc, Vinh City) specializes in making yogurt and selling it online. The trend of cooling off on sunny days is natural drinks, so homemade yogurt, with many flavors from passion fruit, strawberry, coffee... is very popular in the summer. These days, the temperature is high, causing the number of customers ordering to double compared to before. Hung said: Every day, I deliver over 70 bags and boxes of yogurt. Homemade yogurt costs from 4,000 - 6,000 VND/bag, box, so on average I earn about 200,000 VND/day.
