This is the second tea harvest of the year, and thanks to favorable weather, the tea yield is high, coupled with record-high prices, so the tea growers are extremely happy.

Returning to the Youth Settlement Village of the 5th Youth Volunteer Brigade these days, the atmosphere of the spring tea harvest is busier than ever. People from all three production teams are simultaneously harvesting. Currently, most people are using machines to cut the tea, thus increasing the quantity of tea harvested.
The three production teams of the 5th Youth Volunteer Brigade have approximately 150 hectares of tea plantations aged 7 to 10 years, and the local people have also planted over 70 hectares of new tea. Thanks to the application of scientific and technical methods in planting, caring for, and harvesting, the yield of fresh tea in the Brigade has continuously increased. Last year, the tea yield of all three production teams reached over 20 tons/hectare/year.
