Authorities are recalling and relocating many government vehicles in various localities.
The recall and reallocation of official vehicles in localities aims to contribute to practicing thrift, combating waste, and improving the efficiency of asset utilization.
The Department of Public Assets Management - Ministry of Finance has announced that on November 9, 2015, the Ministry of Finance issued a document regarding the handling of assets of the "Medical Support Project for the South Central Coastal Region" after its completion.
At the same time, the Ministry also decided to recall the vehicles from this project and reallocate them to units that urgently need specialized vehicles to carry out their assigned tasks.
This decision is expected to facilitate the new units in successfully completing their tasks, contributing to the practice of saving, combating waste, and improving the efficiency of asset utilization.

Furthermore, regarding the "Medical Support Project for the Mekong Delta" of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, in September last year, the Government Office issued a document notifying the Prime Minister's directive instructing the Ministry of Finance to reclaim 14 official vehicles of this project. Of these, the Can Tho City Preventive Medicine Center is currently managing and using 4 vehicles (including 3 for general use and 1 specialized vehicle).
On November 14, 2014, the Ministry of Finance held a ceremony to receive the vehicles in Ho Chi Minh City. However, the Preventive Medicine Center of Can Tho City did not hand over the vehicles as required.
In early November 2015, the Ministry of Finance issued a decision to transfer vehicles from the Can Tho Preventive Medicine Center to the Government Inspectorate to supplement the quota of specialized vehicles.
