Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam (Candidate No. 323) born in 1998, from Thanh Hoa, is a contestant in the top 35 finalists of Miss Vietnam 2022. She is 1.73m tall, impressing with her beautiful, innocent face. Thanh Tam is an excellent valedictorian of the National Economics University.

Thanh Tam said that she joined the contest because she wanted to step out of her comfort zone, become more confident and improve her skills, qualifications and spirit. She dreams of becoming an influential person, to help people in difficult lives with the message "give love, receive happiness".

Thanh Tam is an enthusiastic, dynamic, sociable and emotional person. Her weakness is that she does not know how to control her emotions well and her skills are limited and she is still improving every day. As the oldest contestant in the contest, Thanh Tam is not worried about this because each age will have its own perspective and color and will be the perfect pieces for the contest.

“For constructive criticism and contributions, I will absorb and learn lessons to improve myself. As for negative criticism and defamation, I will not let it affect my spirit and emotions,” she said.

With all her efforts, Thanh Tam graduated with honors in Development Economics, won 3rd prize in the school-level scientific research competition and her article was included in the 2020 SDAVN International Scientific Conference; and received scholarships for 7 consecutive terms...

The beauty is confident with her communication and interpersonal skills. She is currently in the process of honing and improving many skills from catwalk, performance to behavior, so that she can shine on stage.

Thanh Tam said she had failed in a city-level competition for excellent students and was completely devastated at that time. However, she realized that failure was due to poor preparation, so in the following competitions she was completely focused and achieved good results.

Thanh Tam said that in her first year, although she studied hard, she did not achieve good results. She cried and felt sad because her efforts were not rewarded properly. After that, she calmed down and thought to find a suitable learning method for herself, and as a result, she won scholarships in the following semesters.

In the future, she hopes to carry out charity projects to help vulnerable people in society and children living in remote areas. This is also Thanh Tam's goal when entering the contest.

Thanh Tam shared that her mother had gone through many life-threatening illnesses, but she still tried to work to take care of the family. This further urged her to become independent early, helping her mother earn money to pay for her tuition. Thanh Tam wanted to become a resilient girl like her mother, not giving up in the face of difficulties, not resting on her laurels.

Thanh Tam is interested in the issue of education in the highlands. She shared: “Children are all very intelligent but sometimes lack the conditions to develop, so they lose many opportunities. I hope that as the economy develops, the quality of education will be focused on poor rural areas and remote areas so that every child has the opportunity to pursue their dreams and become good citizens for society.”
