The valedictorian of the 2025 non-specialized high school entrance exam in Hanoi is a student from Van Ho Secondary School (Hai Ba Trung District). The 8 salutatorians come from many different schools.
The top scorer in this year's non-specialized high school 10th grade exam in Hanoi is Be Ngoc Thuy Nhi, a student at Van Ho Secondary School (Hai Ba Trung District), who was admitted to Viet Duc High School with 29.25 points.
Be Ngoc Thuy Nhi's exam scores were: Literature 8.75 points; Math 9.50 points; Foreign Language 10.0 points (perfect score). Nhi had 1.0 bonus point, helping her achieve the highest total score in this exam.
The eight runners-up of this year's Hanoi non-specialized 10th grade exam all scored 28.75 points and came from the following schools: Ngoc Lam Secondary School (Long Bien), Tan Dinh (Hoang Mai), Cau Giay, Hanoi-Amsterdam (Cau Giay), Hanoi Star Secondary School (Thanh Xuan), Thanh Cong (Ba Dinh), Chu Van An (Thanh Tri), and Be Tong Secondary School (Chuong My).
It is worth noting that if priority points are not counted, these 8 salutatorians are the real valedictorians of this year's 10th grade entrance exam.
Vu Khanh Chi, a student at Ngoc Lam Secondary School, achieved the following scores: Math 9.5 points; Literature 9.25 points; Foreign Language 10 points. This year, Khanh Chi registered her first choice at Phan Dinh Phung High School and was successfully admitted.
Le Dieu Linh, a student at Tan Dinh Secondary School, achieved perfect scores in the Foreign Language exam (10 points), Literature exam (9 points) and Math exam (9.75 points). Dieu Linh was admitted to Thang Long High School as her first choice.
Nguyen Quang Anh, a student at Cau Giay Secondary School, also achieved a perfect score of 10 in Foreign Language, a score of 9 in Literature and a score of 9.75 in Math. Quang Anh was admitted to Cau Giay High School as his first choice.
Do Manh Hung, a student at Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, has passed his first choice to Yen Hoa High School. Hung's three exam scores are particularly impressive: 10 points in Math, 10 points in Foreign Language, and 8.75 points in Literature.
Nguyen Minh Huyen, a student at the Hanoi Star Private Secondary School, also got 2 perfect scores of 10 in Math and Foreign Language. In the Literature exam, Huyen got 8.75 points. In this year's exam, Minh Huyen registered her first choice at Kim Lien High School, the school with the highest standard score in Hanoi with 25.5 points.
Duong Gia Linh, a student at Chu Van An Secondary School, is also one of the excellent candidates with 2 exams achieving absolute scores of 10 in Math and Foreign Language. In Literature, Linh scored 8.75. She was admitted to Ngoc Hoi High School as her first choice.
The last two candidates to score 28.75 were Tran Minh Khue, a student at Thanh Cong Secondary School, and Nguyen Khanh Quynh from Be Tong Secondary School (Chuong My).

Bui Ngoc Ha, Hanoi Star Inter-level School, is the valedictorian of Chemistry.
Nguyen Duc Khai, Archimedes Academy Secondary School, became valedictorian of the Math major.
The two students had the same score of 48, the highest among the valedictorians of the 10th grade.
The remaining valedictorians all scored 43.75/50 or higher, commonly 45-46.
