Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung plays at AFC Cup 2018
FLC Thanh Hoa Club head coach Mihail Marian Cucchiaroni said goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung will be the starting goalkeeper in the match between FLC Thanh Hoa and Cebu Club (Philippines) in Group G of the AFC Cup 2018 taking place at 4:30 p.m. tomorrow (February 10) at My Dinh Stadium.

Answering the press at a press conference before the match taking place on the morning of February 9 in Hanoi, coach Mihail Marian Cucchiaroni said he had made a difficult decision to let two players from FLC Thanh Hoa who had just played for the U-23 Vietnam team play in the match against the representative of the Philippines.
He shared: “Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung is currently a modern icon of Vietnamese football after the U-23 Asian Cup. Both Tien Dung and Le Van Dai are in good form after the tournament and have just returned to their clubs to practice. They have also received great attention from fans and the media. I think that when they are in good form and receive expectations, we should give them the opportunity to show themselves.”

At AFC Cup 2018, FLC Thanh Hoa is in group G with the clubs: Bali United FC, Global Cebu FC, Yangon United FC.
Because Thanh Hoa Stadium did not meet the requirements of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), this club rented My Dinh Stadium as its home ground.
The match against Cebu on February 10 is FLC Thanh Hoa's first match at AFC Cup 2018.
FLC Thanh Hoa Club said it will give out free tickets to all fans who come to watch FLC Thanh Hoa's matches at AFC Cup 2018 at My Dinh Stadium.
