In preparation for the 2024/2025 season, PVF-People's Police has carried out a plan to purge its force. And Ho Viet Dai is one of the faces that must leave. The decision of the PVF-People's Police leadership is completely understandable, because in the last season, Ho Viet Dai's familiar position was on the bench.

According to statistics, in the 2023/2024 National First Division, the goal of PVF-People's Public Security is guarded by Phi Minh Long and Nguyen Quang Truong (Phi Minh Long played 18/20 matches, and Nguyen Quang Truong played 2/20 matches). Thus, Ho Viet Dai was not used by coach Mauro Jeronimo at all.

Joining Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Ho Viet Dai will have to compete for the starting position with Nguyen Thanh Tung and Duong Tung Lam. Objectively speaking, Ho Viet Dai's playing experience cannot be compared to the two goalkeepers mentioned above. Therefore, to be appreciated by coach Nguyen Thanh Cong, Ho Viet Dai must make a lot of effort in training.

In the past, in addition to PVF-People's Police, Ho Viet Dai also played for Ho Chi Minh City Club (2022) and Phu Tho (2023). In general, Ho Viet Dai's performances were not really impressive. It is not by chance that Ho Viet Dai only played the role of "redundant" at Ho Chi Minh City Club and PVF-People's Police.
