Goalkeeper Nguyen Manh was absent from the Quang Nam - SLNA match.
(Baonghean.vn) - Coach Nguyen Duc Thang himself confirmed that Nguyen Manh will not be present in the match between Quang Nam and SLNA in the final round of V.League 2019, because he did not recover from his injury in time.
The injury that Nguyen Manh suffered occurred during the recent training session of the Vietnam National Team. According to the doctor's diagnosis, with his elbow injury, the goalkeeper born in 1991 will only need about 2 weeks of treatment to be able to return to competition. However, up to now, nearly 3 weeks have passed, Nguyen Manh has not fully recovered.
Thus, the goalkeeper from Do Luong will have to sit out the match between Quang Nam and SLNA, taking place tomorrow afternoon (October 23). This is the second consecutive match that the Nghe An team will not have the participation of Nguyen Manh. The 28-year-old goalkeeper was also absent in SLNA's victory over B.Binh Duong in round 3 of V.League 2019.
