Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Nam Dinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Bui Thanh An - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

The report and opinions at the meeting unanimously assessed that in August, the province's economy continued to recover positively. Agricultural production remained stable, farmers continued to focus on taking care of summer-autumn crops and planting the winter-spring crop. In August, there was one more advanced new rural commune and one new model new rural commune.

The industrial production index in August is estimated to increase by 11.14%; export turnover is estimated at 292.9 million USD; the number of tourists reached 7.88 million compared to the same period; total revenue from tourists is estimated at 24,834 billion VND, of which tourism revenue is estimated at 9,632 billion VND.

State budget revenue in the area in August is estimated at 1,301.5 billion VND, accumulated revenue in 8 months is estimated at 15,058 billion VND, reaching 94.7% of the estimate and equal to 140.6% of the same period in 2023.

As of August 21, 2024, the province has approved investment policies/issued investment registration certificates for 2 projects with a total investment of more than 219 billion VND.

Since the beginning of the year, the province has granted new licenses to 53 projects with a total registered investment capital of more than VND17,604 billion; adjusted investment capital for 25 projects with a total investment capital increase of more than VND6,965 billion.

Foreign affairs continued to be effectively implemented with many outstanding activities. As of August 20, 2024, the total public investment plan had disbursed VND 4,349,973 billion, reaching 46.89%, 44.21% higher than the same period, higher than the national average.

The Education sector has focused on directing the preparation of conditions to ensure the implementation of tasks at all levels, preparing to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year.

The province successfully organized the Commendation Ceremony for 163 excellent international and national students and students with high scores in the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

In August, the whole province created jobs for 3,500 people; in the first 8 months, it created jobs for 38,800 people, reaching 82.55% of the plan.
