The Que Phong district product display booth opened on November 25, 2016 with an area of less than 30 square meters. Over 100 typical products of the district's ethnic minorities are introduced and sold here such as brocade, rattan and bamboo products, wild honey, purple sticky rice, Japonica rice...
Along with that are medicinal herbs, especially yellow flower tea which is popular with customers, priced at 2.6 - 3.5 million VND/kg; green lim mushroom priced at 1.8 million VND/kg... Most of the products are registered for trademark copyright.
Ms. Sam Thi Yen, the person in charge of sales, said, "The specialties of the mountainous district of Que Phong are very popular with consumers. People tell each other, creating an increasingly greater attraction for the products."
Also, for over a year now, many people in the area have had high incomes thanks to selling products they made themselves. Mr. Lo Van Tinh, Pieu village, Chau Thon commune, said: Previously, he only took up weaving to do his leisure time, partly because he wanted to preserve the traditional profession. However, since having a booth to display and introduce products, weaving has now become the main source of income, nearly 5 million VND per month, which is truly a "dream" for my family.
