Recover the press card of the person who sent the document to Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai.

This afternoon, Minister of Information and Communications Truong Minh Tuan signed a decision to revoke the press card of Mr. Tran Thanh Thang, working at the newspaper Life and Law (DS&PL).

Accordingly, Decision No. 196/QD-BTTTT dated February 27 clearly stated that Mr. Tran Thanh Thang's press card with number IBT02898 for the period of 2016-2020, issued by DS&PL newspaper, was revoked because Mr. Thang had been disciplined by being dismissed from the position of Deputy Head of the Southern representative office of this newspaper.

DS&PL Newspaper is responsible for withdrawing Mr. Tran Thanh Thang's press card and submitting it to the Ministry of Information and Communications before March 10.

The Minister of Information and Communications has signed a decision to revoke the press card of Mr. Tran Thanh Thang.

Previously, the governing body where Mr. Tran Thanh Thang worked issued a decision to suspend his work and asked Mr. Thang to explain the signing of Official Dispatch No. 09/CV-DSPL.

According to the Editorial Board of DS&PL newspaper, Mr. Tran Thanh Thang seriously violated the regulations of the editorial office. Mr. Thang signed and stamped an official dispatch to Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, while the Head of the Representative Office was absent due to leave.

Furthermore, Official Dispatch No. 09/CV-DSPL dated February 15, 2017 sent by Mr. Tran Thanh Thang to Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai has confusing content and a format that is contrary to current legal regulations.

The Disciplinary Council of DS&PL newspaper has decided to remove Mr. Thang from his position as Deputy Head of the Southern Representative Office.
