The Tax Department of Cua Lo Town focused on disseminating information, providing guidance, and supporting taxpayers in understanding new regulations on value-added tax, personal income tax, tax payment deadlines, and tax exemptions and reductions. In addition to coordinating with the town's radio and television station and the cultural committees of the seven wards to regularly broadcast information on the radio system, the Cua Lo Town Tax Department also printed 1,000 leaflets guiding on new tax policies and distributed them directly to businesses and households selling fresh seafood in the area. Simultaneously, mobile outreach was conducted in areas with a high concentration of businesses such as markets, bus stations, and fish ports. As a result, by January 13, 2014, the Cua Lo Town Tax Department had collected 639 million VND in business license tax, achieving 84% of its annual target.

Building on the achievements of 19 years (since the town's establishment) of consistently excelling in state budget revenue collection, especially in 2013 when it collected 190 billion VND, reaching 135% of the provincial target, the Cua Lo Town Tax Department is determined to strive to collect taxes accurately, fully, and exceeding the 2014 target, creating achievements to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Cua Lo town.
