The impact of the recent storm No. 3, heavy rains upstream and the release of floodwaters from hydroelectric dams have kept the Ca River water level high. However, now that the water level has returned to normal, hydroelectric dams in the western part of Nghe An, especially Tuong Duong district, have resumed their normal opening and closing schedules, causing the riverbed in some places to dry up.
