Deputy Minister of Public Security and Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee encourage citizens to join the army
On the morning of February 14, Nghe An province simultaneously held military handover ceremonies in 20 districts, cities and towns, sending off the homeland's outstanding sons to their duty of building and defending the Fatherland.
In Vinh City, the military handover ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Pham The Tung - Deputy Minister of Public Security and the Ministry of Public Security delegation.
The leaders of Nghe An province include comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Major General Bui Quang Thanh - Director of the Provincial Police Department; Phan Duc Dong - Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh City; together with leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Committee of Vinh City, and leaders of units receiving soldiers.

This year, Vinh city has 192 young men enlisting in the Vietnam People's Army and 27 young men joining the People's Public Security service. 100% of the young men meet the health and political quality requirements.
After the decision to assign military quotas by the Provincial People's Committee and instructions on military recruitment by the Provincial Military Command, the City Military Service Council advises the Provincial and City People's Committees to allocate quotas, issue documents and instructions for the grassroots organizations to strictly implement from the stages of screening, preliminary selection, medical examination, infiltration, finalization of military numbers and issuing military call-ups in 2025 to ensure proper procedures.

Among the 219 citizens who joined the army, 86 young people volunteered, 1 party member and 65 young people participated in fostering Party sympathy, 8 young people were Catholics.
In terms of educational level, there are 16 young people with university degrees, 1 young person with college degrees, and 3 young people with intermediate degrees.
Speaking at the military handover ceremony, Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tu emphasized that the country is entering a new era - the era of national development. Vinh City has been preparing both position and strength to move forward to a new stage of development.

As the growth engine of the province, moving towards building a civilized and modern coastal city has great advantages but also many difficulties and challenges, requiring Vinh city to constantly take care of consolidating national defense and security, building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern People's Army and People's Police to meet the requirements and tasks of protecting the Fatherland and national interests in the new situation.
Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee Tran Ngoc Tu hopes and believes that the 219 citizens who will join the army in 2025 will fully assume their duties, responsibilities and obligations to their homeland and country. They will continue to promote the glorious tradition of the nation, devoting all their capacity, intelligence and dedication to the common cause.


Regardless of conditions and circumstances, we must unite, overcome difficulties, strictly abide by the laws and discipline of the People's Army and People's Police, strive to study, train, and excellently complete all assigned political tasks. That is the sentiment and precious gift for our homeland, family, and relatives at home.

On behalf of the citizens leaving for military service, new recruit Phan Bao An (Hung Phuc ward) emotionally shared: "In our hearts, we always realize that building and protecting the Fatherland is the responsibility, right and duty of every Vietnamese citizen in general, especially joining the People's Army and the People's Police to protect the Fatherland is the noble responsibility and duty of the youth of Vinh city in particular."
Expressing the honor and pride of becoming a soldier in the ranks of the People's Army and People's Police, new recruit Phan Bao An promised to uphold the tradition of his hometown, the heroic Red City.



Continuously study, practice, improve knowledge, skills, and courage, overcome difficulties and hardships, enthusiastically compete to achieve the highest achievements during the time serving in the army to be worthy of the trust and love of the Party Committee, local authorities, family, clan, and to well implement Uncle Ho's teaching: "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth".



At the military enlistment ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Nghe An province, Vinh city and provincial police presented flowers, visited and encouraged Vinh city citizens to leave for duty to protect the Fatherland.
