Deputy Minister of Education and Training requested to ensure 3 goals for the 2022 high school graduation exam in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - The high school graduation exam must achieve three goals: safe exam questions, honest test papers, and reliable results that accurately reflect the candidates' performance.
On the afternoon of June 29, a working delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training led by Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son had a working session with the Steering Committee for the 2022 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An province.

This year, Nghe An province has 36,743 candidates taking the exam at 69 test sites. According to the plan, the whole province has 1,584 test rooms. In addition to the backup test room, each locality has also arranged an additional backup test site to prevent unusual situations.

Reporting to the working delegation at the meeting, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh said that up to this point, preparations for the 2022 High School Graduation Exam in Nghe An have been basically completed. In particular, the forces participating in the exam, facilities and equipment have been fully prepared and safety plans have been developed for the exams.

In addition, the province has also developed plans for printing, transporting and preserving exam papers and exam papers. Before that, in preparation for the exam to take place smoothly, safely and in accordance with regulations, the Department of Education and Training also organized training for all forces participating in inspection and examination.
Localities have also reviewed, made lists and had plans to support candidates in difficult circumstances, families with preferential policies, students with disabilities; candidates residing in areas affected by natural disasters and not let any candidate drop out of the exam due to economic or travel difficulties. In addition, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union has also developed a plan and mobilized union members to form "Exam Support Teams" to support candidates.

At the meeting, representatives of departments, branches and localities in the province also gave many comments on the preparation for the exam in Nghe An province. Members of the working group, after inspecting some exam sites in Nghe An, also gave many comments to help the organization of the exam go smoothly. In particular, attention was paid to ensuring security and safety, paying attention to the use of high technology, the process of transporting exam papers in conditions of large areas and difficult roads...
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long said that although Nghe An is one of the provinces with the highest number of candidates in the country, with complex terrain and difficult travel, Nghe An has fully prepared the conditions and built backup plans for unusual situations.
The province will accept comments and suggestions to ensure the exam is held safely to achieve the highest goal of recognizing graduation and considering admission to universities.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Hoang Minh Son affirmed that the 2022 High School Graduation Exam is extremely important and is a basis for assessing the quality of teaching and learning of schools and localities. Therefore, the exam must achieve three goals: safe exam questions, honest exam papers and reliable results, accurately reflecting the candidates' performance.
Through the actual inspection, the Deputy Minister of Education and Training and the working delegation also highly appreciated the preparation work of Nghe An. In the coming time, to complete the set goals, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh Son also suggested that the province should continue to focus on facilities, human resources and material resources. In addition, the province also needs to pay attention to the candidates taking the exam, develop plans to create conditions for candidates with difficult circumstances. The province also needs to pay attention to the issue of propaganda and reminders so that candidates do not make mistakes while taking the exam.
This is also the first year that the exam has many changes in the selection plan, so the Deputy Minister noted that the province needs to pay attention to supporting candidates, especially independent candidates, to ensure the rights of all candidates taking the exam.

In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to exam room hygiene, arrange a cooling fan system, ensure epidemic prevention work, pay attention to F0 candidates and prepare testing plans if there are candidates with health doubts.
