Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Deputy Minister of Finance and Admiral Nguyen Van Hien were proposed by the Central Inspection Committee to be disciplined with a warning for violating moral qualities, lifestyle and lax management.

On the afternoon of June 3, according to the announcement of the 36th session (from May 29 to 31) of the Central Inspection Commission (CICC), at this session, the CICC considered and disciplined Mr. Huynh Quang Hai - Member of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Finance.
Accordingly, the Central Inspection Commission concluded that Mr. Huynh Quang Hai did not strictly comply with the principles of Party organization and activities; violated the Party's moral qualities, lifestyle and regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, on the responsibility to set an example for cadres and Party members, especially key leaders, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the Ministry of Finance.
Based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating Party members, the Central Inspection Committee decided to discipline Mr. Huynh Quang Hai with a warning.

According to the announcement of the Central Inspection Commission, this agency has reviewed and disciplined the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Navy and related individuals for violations and shortcomings that were concluded at the 35th session.
Considering the content, nature, level and consequences of the violation, the Central Inspection Committee decided to warn Rear Admiral Le Van Dao - former Party Committee member, former Deputy Commander of the Navy.
The Central Inspection Commission proposed that the Politburo and the Secretariat consider and discipline Admiral Nguyen Van Hien - former member of the Party Central Committee, former member of the Central Military Commission, former Deputy Minister of National Defense, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, former Commander of the Navy, and Vice Admiral Nguyen Van Tinh - former member of the Party Central Committee, former member of the Central Military Commission, former Secretary of the Party Committee, former Political Commissar of the Navy.
The inspection agency also proposed that the Central Military Commission's Standing Committee discipline the Standing Committee of the Navy Party Committee for the 2005-2010 term.
Previously, at the 35th session (from April 24 to 26), the Central Inspection Committee inspected the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Navy and the Ministry of National Defense for signs of violations.
The results showed that the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Navy violated the principle of democratic centralism and working regulations; lacked responsibility, slackened leadership and direction, lacked inspection and supervision, allowing many violations and shortcomings in the management and use of national defense land, resulting in a number of cadres and party members in the Navy being criminally prosecuted.
Admiral Nguyen Van Hienjointly responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Party Committee Standing Committee; primarily responsible for the violations and shortcomings of the Army Corps and personal responsibility in the management and use of national defense land.

The violations of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Navy and the above cases are said to have "caused great damage to State money and property, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization and the Army, to the point of having to consider and take disciplinary action".
Also at this session, the Central Inspection Commission reviewed the results of the inspection of the implementation of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement tasks for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Commission of Thai Nguyen and Ca Mau provinces; the results of the supervision of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh province.
