British Prime Minister Theresa May: The incident in Manchester was a terrorist attack

British police are investigating an explosion at a music concert in Manchester as a terrorist attack, Prime Minister Theresa May has said.

"We are trying to establish the details of the incident as police are investigating it as a serious terrorist attack," said Mrs May.

"I express my condolences to those affected by this attack," the Prime Minister added.

Earlier witnesses reported "two loud explosion-like sounds" in the "Manchester Arena" stadium. British police called the events in the "Manchester Arena" stadium a serious incident and stated that the explosions at a concert in the "Manchester Arena" killed 19 people and injured 50.
