Prime Minister's directive: Do not sell soft drinks in schools
This is the notable content in Directive 46/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening nutrition work in the new situation, issued on December 21.
Accordingly, the Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Education and Training to direct the organization of school meals to ensure proper nutrition, implement the school milk program, and increase physical activity for children and students.
In particular, the directive clearly states: Do not advertise and sell alcoholic beverages, carbonated soft drinks and unhealthy foods in schools.
In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training is required to closely coordinate between schools and families to educate and provide guidance on nutrition and appropriate physical exercise for children and students; especially for pre-puberty and puberty age groups.

Strengthen the integration of behavioral change education programs on proper nutrition and physical exercise for children and students in schools for the purpose of comprehensive childhood development.
