Hungarian Prime Minister: Europe needs to develop its own military, because the US does not pay for security
(Baonghean.vn) - Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban believes that Europe needs to build and develop its own army and weapons, because the US will not do it for it. If Washington does, Brussels will have to pay, which is the "price of security".

RT reported on March 11 that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in an interview with M1TV that European countries should allocate money to develop their armies and defense weapons, because the US will not pay the bills on their behalf.
"It's time for us to re-arm Europe. The Americans will not pay for Europe's security," Prime Minister Viktor Orban said.
Prime Minister Orban added that all European countries need to contribute to this, including financially: "we need to have our own army and be ready to defend our country".
According to the Hungarian leader, former US President Donald Trump would end the conflict in Ukraine, if re-elected.
“He has a pretty detailed plan on how to end this war by not providing any more money to Kiev in its conflict with Russia. But I am not allowed to talk about the nature of this plan,” Prime Minister Orban said, calling on Donald Trump to “bring peace” to Ukraine.
Previously, on March 8, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with former US President Donald Trump in Florida, in the context that Mr. Trump is a "promising" candidate for the position of US President for a new term.
The Hungarian Prime Minister revealed that Donald Trump's view is that the US is not the one paying for European security.
"If Europe is wary of Russia or wants a high level of security in general, it has to pay for it, either by building its own army and weapons. If the US does this, then Europe has to pay, that's the price of security" - Prime Minister Orban said about Mr. Trump's views./.
